Athletic Hall of Fame announces Class of 2020El programa atlético Hall of Fame anuncia la Clase de 2020

The East Aurora Sports Boosters & East Aurora High School Athletic Hall of Fame Committee is pleased to announce the 2020 Hall of Fame Class:

Chuck Mennecke, class of 1973, Andy Toma, Class of 1985, Lou Hernandez class of 1989, and April Nelson, Class of 1993,

The Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be Friday, Jan. 31, 2020, prior to the start of the boys’ varsity basketball game against Glenbard East High School. All visitors are asked to enter through door No. 8. a 4:30 p.m. reception will take place in the cafeteria, prior to the ceremony.  The reception is free and open to the public. Tickets for admission to the basketball game must be purchased to attend ceremony in-between games.

The schedule for the day will be as follows:

• 4:30 p.m.: Reception in East Aurora High School Cafeteria;
• 5 p.m.: Varsity girls basketball game;
• 6:30 p.m.: Hall of Fame ceremony;
• 7 p.m.: Varsity boys basketball game.

The East Aurora Hall of Fame Committee recognizes outstanding contributions to the East Aurora High School athletic program by a student-athlete, coach, or friend of the program.
