District 131 families are invited to attend the 31st Annual Back-to-School Bash at Martin Luther King Park on Sunday, August 19.

The event is hosted by City of Aurora 7th Ward Alderman Scheketa Hart-Burns, Main Baptist Church and community partners. There will be free food, t-shirts, haircuts, hair styling and school supplies for students. Special guests include the cast of Broadway’s “Lion King,” New Direction and many more.

The Back-to-School Bash will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 19, at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park, at the corner of Farnsworth Avenue and Grand Boulevard.
