EAHS Student Services ready to helpEAHS Student Services ready to help

Even while moving to an entirely remote education model, East Aurora High School and EASD 131 remains as committed as ever to the Social Emotional Learning needs of our students. As with the teaching faculty, Counselors, Social Workers, and Psychologists are working Monday through Friday from 7:55 AM – 3:25 PM, tending to the academic and interpersonal needs of each and every EAHS student.

Working in conjunction with our Deans and building administration, the Student Services team prides itself in timely responses to any student health, wellness or safety concerns. If a student needs or wants support, they are strongly encouraged to reach out to their counselor or social worker. If they do not feel comfortable doing so, any teacher or trusted adult employed by EASD 131 can make sure that student gets connected to the help they need. The most important thing is that students and their families let someone at the high school, ideally an administrator or member of the Student Services team, know as soon as they feel like they need help or support. If there is a concern that needs to be dealt with after school hours or on the weekend, outside resources are listed on our District Student Services page.

If there is an emergency situation where a student’s health or safety is at risk, students and their families should call 911 immediately. EAHS will follow up with district services as determined by the situation.
