Students interested in Driver’s Ed Summer School may sign up on Saturday, April 14.

Sign up will take place in the new Atrium inside door 8.

Senior registration will begin at 9:00 am; Junior registration will begin at 9:30 am. 
All others, registration will begin at 10:00 am. 

A LAB FEE of $100 will be due at registration.

Important notes:

• Eligibility is any student who has passed EIGHT (8) classes during 2017-18 school year.
• Must be minimum 15 years of age on June 11th.
• Student cannot have any automobile moving violations or court dates.
• Summer Drivers Ed will have a maximum of 208 students.
• Attendance is MANDATORY. Any student who misses one class will be given the opportunity to make the class up. Any student who misses TWO classes will AUTOMATICALLY FAIL THE CLASS AND WILL BE DROPPED from the program. There is NO REFUND for students who are dropped due to attendance issues.
• Will be offered to summer Drivers Education students upon passing the permit test. A $20 fee will be collected for the Secretary of State/Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Driving will take place throughout June and July.
• All registered students will need to attend a MANDATORY four-day Secretary of State procedure to accomplish the following tasks: pay the $20 fee, take permit test, eye test, and complete application to obtain Illinois DMV Learners Permit. If you miss this session you will be removed from the summer program. This process will be in the EAHS café from 3:15 to 4:45 pm on May 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th.
