Menus for East Aurora High School

District 131 participates in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP), an option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. All of our schools participate in the CEP program and are able to provide healthy breakfasts and lunches each day at no charge for all students during the school year.

Anyone who wants to nominate someone for Homecoming Court MUST get a nomination form from either Mr. Gerk in room 362, or the main office. Forms MUST be completed and returned NO LATER than Friday after school!

SKILLS USA meets every Thursday in the Auto shop Room 150 at 3:30 com see what we are all about.

Want to know more about the bible? Want to share your biblical ideas with us? The Bible Club is the right place to start! The Bible Club meets in room 235 after school on Tuesdays. Learn more with us and expand your biblical knowledge. Snacks included!

Have some free time after school? Interested in robotics, team building activities, college and career information, cool raffles, fun cooking labs and some homework help? Join the 21st Century Program held in room 273 after school, Monday through Thursday 3:20 to 6:00. Please stop by the main office or the college and career center and pick up an enrollment form. We accept students on a first come first served basis and space is limited. Contact Mrs. Williams in room 330 with questions.

East Aurora High School students may now register to take the AAPPL assessment to earn the Seal of Biliteracy by visiting the Seal of Biliteracy page on the school website or seeing Mr. Marten in room 172.

Juniors and Seniors are encouraged to visit the fieldhouse during fifth and sixth period lunches on Wednesday, October 20th for our College and Career Fair. You will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from various colleges and universities, learn about careers that require vocational training, and connect with individuals who can help in deciding what post-secondary plan is right for you. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to start planning your future!

Anyone interested in joining the wrestling team there will be an informational meeting today in the football stadium to discuss the upcoming season. Boys and girls are welcome to join, no experience necessary. This is the first year the IHSA will be hosting a Girls State Tournament. If you have any questions, see coach Mick in office 453.

Drama Club is open to anyone interested in theatre. We meet on Wednesdays in the Little Theater after school. Come see what all the drama is all about.

Please plan to visit the College and Career Center every Thursday during your lunch period for Financial Aid Thursdays!. Lauren Waitt from ISAC will assist you with any FAFSA application questions. We also have counselors and grad coaches staffed every lunch period to assist you with searching and completing scholarships. Come join us! We look forward to seeing you there!

The historic 2021 yearbooks are on sale. Find out what happened during last year’s tumultuous pandemic year. You don’t want to miss this piece of your high school history. Yearbooks can be purchased before school in room 323 from Mrs. McGoldrick or Tuesday and Thursdays in the main office from Ms. Ramirez.

Order your 2022 yearbook now! This year’s working theme “out of the shadows and into the light” will feature closer looks at clubs, athletes, and rising stars throughout our school. Order at Jostens.com for $30 or bring cash/check to room 323 between 8-8:20 am or after school.

Homecoming dance tickets are now on sale online, for $20. There are posters with QR codes to the link around the school and lunchrooms. Also, cash sales will be available TODAY after school by the main office, as well as Tuesday and Thursday, AND FRIDAY next week. Remember, no outside guests will be allowed this year, and no tickets will be sold at the event. BUT- what an event! 2 DJs, food trucks, games, a photobooth, and more. You DO NOT want to miss out. Dress formal, or dress casual! Your choice!

NEXT WEEK IS HOMECOMING 2021! MAKE UP FOR LOST TIME BY ENJOYING AND PARTICIPATING IN ALL THE ACTIVITIES!

Tuesday is “Decades” day so dress like your favorite decade! Then,
Tuesday night, We will have a free movie night in the auditorium on Tuesday at 7pm. Ever wonder what would happen if a person multiple personalities had a personality that was a serial killer? Find out Tuesday night in the auditorium, as we are showing the movie “SPLIT”.

Wednesday, is Jersey Day, and also all school testing. Seniors, you won’t be in the building that day, BUT, after testing, the girls volleyball team will take on staff members at 4pm. Cheer on your friends! A $2 donation is asked for a fundraiser for the girls’ volleyball team.

Thursday is Class Color Day. Freshmen wear green, Sophomores wear orange, Juniors wear pink, and Seniors (woohoo) wear Purple! Staff wear your OLDEST college gear. Thursday will also be the junior/senior pep assembly, and then pack the place for the varsity soccer team against Oswego East that night.

Friday is red & black Tomcat pride day, and anyone who participates will get beads as they enter. Friday is also the freshmen/sophomore pep assembly, and the last time to buy Homecoming Dance tickets. Then Friday night is the football game against West Chicago!

Saturday, from 4pm-8pm is the epic Homecoming dance! What a great homecoming week for our Tomcats! Thank you student council!

East Aurora High School students may now register to take the AAPPL assessment to earn the Seal of Biliteracy. East High students can register for the AAPPL exam by clicking on this link. Registration is open for two weeks and the testing will begin at the end of October. Students have the option to test in-person or at home. To earn the Seal of Biliteracy, students must qualify in English and another language. Students are welcome to register to take both the English and world language tests; to do so, they should complete the form once for each language.
