The VNA Health Center at East Aurora High School
The VNA Health Center at East Aurora High School (EAHS) is a collaboration between VNA Health Care and East Aurora School District 131.
Great Care for Students and Convenient for Parents
This school-based health center is a dedicated place of healthcare support for all EAHS students. It offers important and convenient primary care health services right on-site, including illness and injury care, care for chronic conditions, checkups, labs, and vaccinations (such as for school and sports physicals), and counseling services. VNA also provides referrals for off-site services such as vision, dental, and family counseling, and to community organizations that assist with food, housing, and other necessities.
VNA accepts students with and without insurance, and no student will be turned away due to inability to pay for services.
Students get quality, affordable health care during the school day, reducing school absences and the need for parents to take time away from work. VNA can also communicate with your student’s regular doctor, if applicable.
Health Services for Students
The goal of the Health Center is to improve the physical and emotional health of students attending EAHS and to teach them life-long positive health behaviors. By removing as many barriers as possible, we can ensure students have what they need to focus on their education in the classroom.
When to go to the VNA Health Center vs. the school nurse?
If a student is feeling unwell – such as with a fever, headache, nausea, dizziness, or cough/cold – they should start by going to the school nurse. The school nurse will then send them to the VNA Health Center, when appropriate.
If a student has a health need that can be scheduled in advance or is a more complex health need – such as a school/sports/camp or employment physical, a vaccine, chronic disease management, a lab test, or counseling – they should start by coming to the VNA Health Center.
When in doubt, students can always come to the VNA Health Center first, and they will be sent to the school nurse if that is most appropriate.
Sign Your Student Up Today
Students must have a signed parental/guardian consent form on file before they can receive services at this Health Center. To get a consent form on file:

2. Print: Print out the English Consent Form – Print or the Spanish Consent Form – Print, complete it, and return it in person to the Health Center at EAHS.
