2024 District Wide Reading Challenge Winners! Congratulations!
From February 5 to March 15, East Aurora schools PreK-12 were competing with one another to see who could read the most books and be awarded the coveted EA Reading Challenge Trophies! Collectively all our schools read over 156,000 books! On Monday, April 15, the winning schools and top students were recognized at the EASD 131 Board of Education meeting.
These are the schools, grades, students and staff with the most books read for each competitive level:
Pre-K: O’Donnell Elementary-Daniel Murillo, Jose De La Torres
K-2: Hermes Elementary-Ximena Munoz, Marioangel Perez
3-5: Allen Elementary – Efrain Castro-Bello, Mariana Ortiz Garcia, Marissa Barrera
6-8: Fred Rodgers Magnet Academy- Xyavia Blair
EAHS: Seniors- Linnea Holtz, Treyshawn Ingold, Jordan Smith, LuTavia Smith
