East students have until January 14 to apply to the Jr. State Rep Program with D131 Alumna, Barbara Hernandez. A message to EAHS students from Illinois State Representative, Barbara Hernandez:

“Are you interested in political science and social justice? Are you interested in politics and local government? State Representative Barbara Hernandez and Talented Tenth Social Services, Inc. have partnered to host a Junior State Rep Program for high school students to learn more about the political process! Students will get an in-depth look at the political process and will be able to draft bill ideas and participate in virtual mock sessions where they can debate and defend their bill with other members.”

Where: Virtually

When: 2^nd Monday of each month from March until June

Time: 6:00 – 8:30 PM
