This year EAHS welcomes our new Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) representative, Ms. Lauren Waitt, to the Tomcat community. Ms. Waitt will work out of the Tomcat College and Career Center (CCC) all-day every Thursday to help students understand and successfully complete the financial aid process. As the submission of a successful Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is not only the best way for students to make sure they are financially prepared for college, but is also a state of Illinois High School graduation requirement, this process is more important than ever for all students. In addition to making herself available for regular student support every Thursday, Ms. Waitt and her ISAC team will be hosting regular events for East students and their families. The first such event will be on September 16, when Ms. Waitt will be presenting Financial Aid general Information Sessions for students in the CCC during each lunch period. Evening events will follow through the remainder of the Fall semester to support our student’s and their families through this process.:
These evening presentations will be offered in both English and Spanish.
Ms. Waitt’s contact information is as follows:
630 870 9553
