Portillo's Fundraiser for FCCLA on April 12Portillo's Fundraiser for FCCLA on April 12

Everyone’s favorite beef and hotdog spot is partnering with EAHS’ highly decorated Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) student organization. On April 12, the Oswego Portillo’s, on Route 34, will donate 20% of it sales to benefit the Tomcat FCCLA program. This type of donation can critically support the success of our FCCLA team as it participates in local and national events and culinary competitions. The FCCLA organization is advised by EAHS culinary instructor, Kristin Doucette.  Doucette appreciates the support that her national award-winning club receives from the EA community, “We are all very grateful to our Board of Education and school leaders who support activities such as FCCLA, as well as our donors . . . The skills learned in FCCLA will better prepare students for their lives after high school and offer an endless variety of possibilities.”

In order to participate in this fundraiser, you must:

  • Order online or in the Portillo’s app for pickup
  • Use code PORTILLOS24 before checkout in the “Apply Offer” field OR
  • Show a digital version of this flyer to the cashier when ordering at the restaurant
  • Valid on drive thru, pickup, curbside, and in restaurant orders.

FCCLA is a national student organization that helps young men and women become leaders and address important personal, family, work, and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences Education. FCCLA has more than 180,000 members and nearly 6,000 chapters from 48 state associations, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. The organization has involved more than ten million youth since its founding in 1945.

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is unique among youth organizations because its programs are planned and run by members. It is the only career and technical in-school student organization with the family as its central focus. Participation in national programs and chapter activities helps members become strong leaders in their families, careers, and communities.
