On May 11,  a group of hard working Tomcats enjoyed a special breakfast, as various departments at East High honored them as “Students of the Month” for the month of April.

Also joining were “Students of the Quarter”. Some of the honorees stayed after and took a quick photo before heading off to class. This month’s honorees include: Carlos Moreno (Applied Tech); Glenda Avila Donato (Bilingual); Maria Guzman (Business); Edgar Ramirez (Driver’s Ed); Catalina Gallardo (English); Luis Medina (FACS); Bryan Perez (Fine Arts); Trebreh Hammond (Health): Jacqueline Zamora (Math); A’liyah Curry (NJROTC); Yahaira Chavez (Physical Education); Sama Kreidi (Science); and Jaely Gonzalez (World Languages). Students of the Quarter included Diana Rios (2018); Giselle Gonzalez-Beltran (2019); Richard Moreno (2020); and Emmanuel Garcia (2021).
