The Give Something Back Foundation (GSBF) has awarded five EAHS freshmen full-ride scholarships to attend Northern Illinois University upon graduation from District 131.  This year’s winners are: Arely Ferreira – Nava, Paola Madrid, Jennifer Marquez, Yaileen Velazquez and Sttefy Gabriel. The scholarship covers both tuition and room and board fees.  The GSBF will also match these students to mentors who will help them throughout both their high school and college careers. To date, the GSBF has given 14 scholarships to East Aurora Students (37 to Aurora Area students overall).  The winners will be honored at the annual banquette in Homer Glen on May 10th.  The scholarship will again be offered next Fall to the Class of 2022.  For more information on this scholarship, please contact Andrew Rathje in the EAHS College and Career Center (630-299-8055).
